These are the questions we hear most often from operations, marketing and IT teams.

Value for my destination

What does the interactive map really change for my visitors?

Your visitors already use interactive maps every day. Offering them a digital extension of your printed map means they get the most out of their experience, in line with what they feel like doing. Browsing quality content, finding their position on the map or working out a route becomes effortless, just like on Google Maps.

What is in it for operations, beyond visitor comfort?

You see in real time where the flows go, which points of interest are viewed and which destinations are requested. That helps you spread attendance, adjust sector openings, plan teams and back investment decisions with field data instead of intuition.

Do you have measured results at a comparable destination?

At Baqueira/Beret, the 2025-2026 winter season produced more than 130,000 interactive map loads and 80,000 GPS location requests. More broadly, across every type of territory, we see an average +30% engagement in the very first year.

My destination is small — is the solution still relevant?

Yes. We equip village resorts and wildlife parks as well as the largest ski area in the world. The licence is modular: you take the scope that fits your size and extend it later.

Does it work in summer too?

Yes, and that is often where the value appears. Hiking, trail running, mountain biking and bike parks, family activities, events: your map becomes a four-season discovery tool with content and routes specific to each period.

Rollout and day-to-day use

Do I need a new map, or can we start from my existing artistic map?

We start from your existing map. We georeference it with a high density of points so GPS positioning stays accurate turn by turn, while keeping the visual identity your visitors already know.

How long does it take to go live?

A few weeks between receiving the source files and going live, depending on the size of the destination, the number of points of interest and the connections to your systems. We build a schedule aligned with your season opening.

Can my teams manage content without going through you?

Yes. The back office lets your teams create, edit, translate and publish content autonomously, in a few minutes, with no technical skills required.

How do you handle the languages of our international visitors?

The map and your content are multilingual, with translation built into the back office. You add a language whenever a new market justifies it.

Do visitors have to download an app?

No. The map opens straight in the browser, from your website, a QR code on site or your screens. It also embeds into your mobile app if you have one.

Real time, data and integrations

Which real-time information can you display?

Openings, availability, equipment preparation status, weather and attendance. The suggested route takes into account what is genuinely open at the time of the request.

Can it connect to our existing tools?

Yes, through our open API and turnkey connectors: Digisnow, Lumiplan, Affluences, Apidae and more. Your existing data feeds the map, and the map feeds your other channels.

What data do we get back, and in what form?

Flow heat maps, most-viewed points of interest, requested routes, trends by period and by sector. Indicators are available in a dashboard and can be exported for your internal analysis.

How do you handle visitors' personal data?

Analysis is based on aggregated, anonymised usage, in line with GDPR. We do not use your visitors' data for anything other than your own steering.

What happens where network coverage is weak?

The map is optimised for poor connections and remains usable in degraded conditions, refreshing as soon as the network returns.

Budget and support

How is pricing built?

A clear subscription and modular pricing, based on the size of your destination and the options you choose, with no billing by usage volume. You know the cost upfront.

Can you redraw my base map?

Not us directly. But we work regularly with teams specialised in map design. We can bring them into your interactive map project.

Which licence suits a destination like mine?

The Pricing page lists the licences and amounts, and the Clients page shows which licence each equipped destination chose, from the smallest to the largest. It is the best way to place yourself.

What support do we get after go-live?

Once your map is delivered, you keep the same people. The map enters its run phase with support on hand for any question. On our side, Itinemap keeps evolving and you benefit from the latest updates.

Why work with an independent company?

Decisions are made quickly and product priorities come from the field. You talk directly to the people who design the solution.
